Doing it the Hard Way: Setting up an Animation Studio Outside the Capital

It’s that time when Animation Forum West Midlands is organising another event and you should be going.

If you are reading my blog then you are clearly into 3D and animation and therefore should be attending this. Only seems reasonable.

Niel Bushnell worked as an animator on features Space Jam and Lost in Space before establishing award-winning Newcastle-based animation and VFX studio Qurios in 2002.

He’ll be on hand to share his experiences of establishing an animation business with Doing it the Hard Way: Setting up an Animation Studio Outside the Capitalon Tuesday 1st March 2011 (7pm start) at The Studio, Birmingham.

The event is free to attend, includes a free first drink and is open to animators and designers of all levels, or indeed anyone interested in establishing a studio-based business.

There’ll be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the talk, plus the chance to chat with fellow animators in the fantastic surroundings of the The Studio’s city centre rooftop bar and restaurant.

The direct link to the event is here: http://www.animationforumwm.co.uk/news-display.aspx?id=212

And if you are looking for details on it’s location then look no further! Or click here be more accurate!

I look forward to seeing you all there!
